ON CHECKOUT PELASE LEAVE A NOTE REGARDING WHICH COLOR YOU PREFER, WE HAVE BLUE, BLACK AND GREY/ALUMINUM COLORS. The new RK3566 chip will allow you to play newer systems such as PSP, N64, DC, NDS, Naomi, Mame, and more at a higher frame rate than the older generation, the difference between the rk3566 and rk3326 chip is very obvious when playing these systems, even though at the moment the software is not optimized and we should expect big improvements with future updates, gameplay and frame rates are much better compared to the rk3326 chip handhelds. Battery life is also very good on this unit, running at 50% brightness and playing various systems we got about 6-7 hours of playtime with this console through multiple sessions, it exceeds the expectations of a 3500 mAh size battery. Another noticeable upgrade to the system is the new OLED display which is the same display that has been used on the PS Vita handhelds, for those who are familiar with this display will notice that it is very vibrant and it has accurate color, sharpness, saturation, and contrast. Playing 3D games on the OLED screen will be noticeably much improved compared to the older 640 x 480 or lower resolutions, the addition of Bluetooth is also much welcomed, this will enable you to connect your Bluetooth controller, and the HDMI output is also a great addition which allows you to connect to a TV or monitor (you’ll need a mini HDMI adapter). This handheld also has a very ergonomic feel with a molded handgrip design which is easier to hold and also has a backplate with a rough surface design to prevent slipping, in addition to this design it is noticeably easier to press the trigger buttons as well as the L2 and R2 buttons are slightly elevated, the joysticks are also low profile and the d-pad and analog buttons are also very responsive, overall comfortable to use. The weight of this handheld is surprisingly light due to the shell casing being made out of plastic material, when holding the handheld it has a premium feel and a very durable design. The dual speakers on the bottom left and right corners are also very loud and clear, very similar to the other Anbernic devices in quality and sound. As usual, we like to optimize the cooling so we installed copper heatsinks on the CPU and RAM chips for more efficient cooling, this is ideal for preventing overheating and heat throttling which can decrease frame rates during gameplay. The system includes a 256GB Samsung or SanDisk card which has been curated and pre-configured for you and does not require any further tinkering and saving you countless hours of labor and trial and error testing, maybe even sleepless nights, there may be a few systems like Mame or N64 which usually do require selection of specific emulators for specific titles which may not be compatible with the default emulator, instructions on how to do this are provided. A new feature has also been added for moonlight support if you have games installed on a PC you will be able to stream them onto the device. The following systems are supported with this particular hardware and software. Mame, final burn alpha, Atomiswave, Atari 2600, 5200, 7800, Lynx, MSX, Capcom play system, Colecovision, commodore 64, Dreamcast, Intellivision, Vectrex, PC engine, PC engine turbo graphics CD, turbo graphics 16, game and watch, Famicom, NDS, NES + hacks, SNES +hacks, Famicom disc system, game boy, super Famicom, virtual boy, n64, game boy color, game boy advance, Openbor, Panasonic 3do (small sample), Ports, SG-1000, Sinclair, Sega Master System, Sega Genesis, Sega Genesis hacks, Sega game gear, Sega Genesis mega drive, 32x, Sega cd, Sega Naomi, neo geo, NeoGeo pocket, PS1, PSP, Wonderswan color. At the moment gameplay has not been fully optimized as the software is very new and usually takes several updates to see improvement, this will be noticeable for N64 which tends to be the most difficult system to emulate, as updates come out we expect this to be addressed. Rockchip RK3566 quad-core 64-bit Cortex A55 processor (up to 1.8GHz). Arm Mali-G52 EE GPU. 0.8 TOPS NPU/AI accelerator. 1x LPDDR4 (up to 1GB). 1x 16GB microSD card (64GB version available). Samsung 4.95 OLED screen (960×544 pixels). 2 x Micro HDMI 1.4 (up to 4096p60). High fidelity dual stereo speaker. Dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n. 1 x USB 3.1 Gen2 type C. 2x TF card slots. 3x auxiliary buttons (power, reset and volume). 5V DC (via microUSB). 3500 mAh Li-Po battery (6 hours of usage). 19 x 8.4 x 2.1 cm. What makes this system unique compared to the original factory OS? Streamlined frontend which is easy to scroll and pick your system and games, with no need for multiple apps and time-wasting through the menu. User-friendly user interface with game art and descriptions, giving it a professional look which makes it much more appealing aesthetically. Optimized gameplay, emulators are able to support more titles and run much better compared to the old factory OS. Additional game features such as save and load states, aspect ratio changes, shaders, and much more. Unlocking the power of the hardware, the original OS has many flaws which limit the emulation abilities of this unit, the custom software has unlocked the processing power of this unit further. Hardware modification keeps the unit cooler and has a noticeable performance increase. This item is in the category “Video Games & Consoles\Video Game Consoles”.
