I do recommend upgrading this simply because the batteries are so old now, and there is no way of telling how long they will last with frequent play. There are plenty of “cheaper” battery options on the market other than what I offer as a upgrade but, they’re not as good. If, for some reason, the game boy stops working in any way, send it back to me, and I’ll fix it free of charge, even if it was your fault. I value my customers and love this hobby.
