Hold the Vol Down button and press power on, this will take you to a boot menu. Select SD card from the menu (EFI/SD) and press A to boot. Can also be used on PC and Laptops. Put MicroSD into USB MicroSD reader and into your PC USB3 port. Your PC may need to have boot device enabled. Then on startup press Del, or F10, F11, F12 depending on computer to enter boot menu to select boot drive. Then select the correct drive – Batocera USB/MicroSD drive. When you turn off the Steam Deck and start up again, if you don’t hold Vol down button then it will simply start your Steam Deck OS as normal. There are many options within Batocera menu (press menu start button to display) – such as being able to connect to your WiFi to download updates and cheats. I would recommend taking a backup of the card if you are going to update any system settings. Drop me a message for any other questions.
