Original Nintendo Game Boy DMG-01 IPS Retro Pixel Screen 36 Colour Options. It has has a new scratch resistant glass screen fitted. All of these mods not only bring this classic handheld console back to life, but upgraded to be the best that a Game Boy can be. It is a truly stunning handheld to play. So what exactly has been done to this console. The Original display and PCB has been replaced with a new IPS pixel display, which replicates the original pixel look to the display, the screen is 11% larger than the original screen, it has adjustable brightness and 36 different colour options. The brightness is controlled by moving the wheel up and down, and colour options change by pressing the wheel in and moving the wheel up and down, (some colour options shown in photos). The screen has been fitted correctly and securely using a custom alignment bracket. The old plastic screen lens has been removed and replaced with a custom more scratch resistant glass replacement to take into account the larger display. The original silicone rubber contacts have been cleaned and reused, since aftermarket replacements don’t feel the same as the original. The Original Nintendo shell and buttons have been stripped and fully cleaned, this is an original Nintendo shell, so may have minor marks, please study the photos.
